Ricoh Caplio R4 good or not?

Just notice there is R4 and R40, where R40 has shorter zoom, wondering if there is anything else different. Anyone?

It's nice to have a compact to bring around, especially one with wide-angle and pretty good telephoto ;p have been using it more than my DSLR recently.
