Carla is only 14 when I met her in Prague. Shes from the country-side and is going to be a model when she reaches 16. It is kind of different as they spot and groom the girls when they are 12 or 13 and some grow up to become the supermodels we see in magazines and on TV.
She was pretty nervous when I cast her, her parent was here in town with her but didn't show up in the hotel. Her agent did. With another girl who is 17. This is my first casting in Prague and her first casting as a model. She did as she was told, changed into heels and did a simple walk and I took some pictures of her without makeup and sound out her English by speaking to her. Her skin is flawless and she is very shy. Most of the time, her agent had to speak on her behalf. I offered her some tea and told her that she isnt very suitable for SG market but I will see what we can do for her when the time comes. Who knows the market might change? The other girl was luckier, she will be in town next month.

No matter how we dress, style or change, for us ("baby boomers" Gen or Gen X) we can never be forever young...
