Hey guys... I haven't been coming into Clubsnap for a long long time, staying away from posion! Anyway I popped back in to check just stuff about Zeiss c-sonnar and came across this thread. What a perfect opportunity to share - I purposely chose portraits from each of my 3 lenses.
OH NOES!
I love this kid and responded immediately with this expression when I whipped out my camera for his shot. Full of life and action. Abim, pageboy during a wedding.

Some outstanding shots here. I have some photos I want to share while it may not be as good as what I've seen so far.
This shot was taken while I was in Vietnam. The guy was, for a lack of a better word, emo-ing at his bike while I took the shot. I was in fact quite near to him and he only realised it after I had taken the shot. I merely smiled at him and he smiled back.
Again, not a technically perfect shot.. but I like it because I feel that his friendliness comes across. He was a cab driver in Guangzhou and we were just chatting about how life was like over there. He was incredibly friendly and when I asked if I could take a picture, he obliged. Not wanting to hold him up, I quickly took a shot.
A friend I got to know through this hobby of mine. She's usually a bit crazy (in the good sense) and I just wanted to show another side of her.
