The theme for Sept 2010 is "Slides". Sorry to isolate the digital users this month. Pls post your top 3 slides photos. Please ENSURE you include a TITLE for your submission and either write a short summary of why your pics suited the theme stated or simply let the photos do the talking for you.

Rules are very simple:

1. Competition period Sep 3 to Sep 30th 2010
2. Please submit 3 of your best shots with a short explanatory into your submission by Sep 30th 2010
3. All entries will be judged American Idol style by your fellow members
4. Judging period will be from Oct 1st to Oct 7th, 2010
5. Top 3 entries will be posted by Oct 8th 2010: winner has bragging rights for the rest of the month (haha) and be submitted to the Hall of Fame thread (wow!)
6. Gentlemens/Ladies rules, please
7. Enjoy!

BUBBLES (MP + Summilux 50mm + Provia 100 xprocess)

Soap bubbles draw kids to them regardless of age and race. I remember my brother and I used to "pop" bubbles from the manual blowing plastic ring we bought cheap from the Indian provision shop (they have alot of cheap and fun toys for the kids to splurge their lunch money on). We have to blow till we were giddy before swooping places.

Now they have automatic bubble guns that endlessly create bubble after bubble with just 2 AA batteries and some soap. Seeing the kids having their fun, the big kid in me wants join in and pop some bubbles too, but would have seem absurd to the adults around whom interestingly, might want to do the same too.

Well, self-restraint at its best. I hope this 2 doesn't grow up too soon. Look at the fun they are having...

DAY JOB (MP+ Elmarit 24mm ASPH + Sensai 200)

An afternoon walk in one of the smaller and older mosque during my visit to Istanbul. The cleaner was cleaning the washing area with such dedication while the city sleeps under the scorching sun. Maybe for the God within him...

THE LEGGYS (MP + Noctilux + Provia 100F)

I spotted this in a park in Prague. It was the golden hour and the sun ray was spilling onto the police horses' long, slim legs. Reminds me of the kind of legs you see during a fashion show. Well, its Prague, city of the beautiful anyway ;)

Bessa r3a, 12mm F5.6 on Velvia 100f

Technically so so, but it was a once in lifetime moment for me as I was walking along the beach in Queenstown New Zealand and these gliders just 'dropped' down on us. Too Amazing for me!

Taken on slide and assembled in photoshop. Slides brought to my mind colours so I was playing around with the colours (no other pp done) of the buildings in S'pore :)

Pop!

Was walking around after work, when there was a small celebration as Singapore was just selected to host the youth olympics. Saw this lady with the most matching dress, complementing her tattoo.

I hope a picture that isn't shot on a RF is okay. This is shot on a old HorizonT with Astia 100.
