Wow, things are certainly heating up!! We are seeing lots of late entries!!
Come on, hurry.. for those who have not submitted their pictures.

Please note that we will not be including late entries for the selection. We got to be fair to the selection committee, made up of professionals who have kindly volunteered their time for this cause.

Now just sit back and relax. The selection committee made up of professionals will be filtering the pictures soon.
Do prepare the high-resolutions and email it to us, the moment you receive an email from us requesting for them.

Hi everyone, the judges are still going through the images via online system and will be done by this weekend. May I remind those who sent in pictures to prepare the high-res scan (3600dpi at least) or do whatever post-retouching needed for the digital RF files, the RFSG committee will contact owners of the chosen pictures over the weekend and will need them in by a very short span of time. Those delayed in sending in will NOT make it for this historical book. This "span" of time is 1-2 days only sadly.
That said, I urge everyone to be responsible for their own submission. Prepare your final output images and get ready to rumble!

Photographs selected for this event will be displayed on projector @ S.A.M. and also published in a coffee table photography book for viewing at the event.
If you like to own this first edition of RF.SG photography book, you can place your advance order during the event with Chiif Camera. Price of the book will be available only during or after the event base on the response collected.
Proposed content of the photography book
Title of the book: RF An introduction
Size of book: 10.5 x 10.5 square format in hard bind glossy cover and non-glossy blinded print
Number of copies on display at S.A.M.: Five
1) Introduction to RF
2) 100 beautiful selection of photographs captured by RF.SG photographers with their RF
3) Some photos and description of RF gears

Guys, dont be stunned by the submission requiements. I have just submitted mine and hope to share with you the steps. Please follow closely:
1. scan your negatives at 2400 or 3600 dpi (higher, the better), Digital skip this step.
2. both digital and film users import your digital files into photoshop.
3. go to image>image size, under "document size", change the DPI to "300pixels/inch" first then under change the unit right above to "mm"
4. IF your picture is landscape, key in "210" for the width, the height leave to auto-proportion. BUT if your image is portrait, key in 210 for the height instead, leave the width to auto-proportion.
5. name your file in this format "Name_PhotoName_Camera_Lens" and submit together in a single email.
That simple! I have submitted my high-res, have you???
Oh yes, please do not include fancy frames, borders or signatures in your pictures. Submissions should all be clean with pure picture only. Thanks!
