Hello Fellow Rangefinders enthusiasts!!!

Time for another getogetherLaKopiBeerGearstalk and shooting sessions!!! :thumbsup:

Theme: Textures! the rich textures of Singapore!!!

3 locations to choose from!!!

1) the last kampong of Singapore "Kampong Buangkok"

Got wet weather plan? The weather is kinda cranky these days, one min its hot as hell, the next it is showering down.

I know a place where we can have been in the kumpong area :bsmilie: I dont mind being a "guide" for this one, I just went there lately.

LOL... that place not refined enough? ... hhehehe...


Changi could be comparable to Ubin too... with its beaches and board walk.... but lack the old kampong houses...

Yeah...either super hot or super wet..... weather having mood swings.... Sure sure if we go Ubin! I love Ubin!!! the people there are awesome too!!!

the last time I was at Ubin, there was this huge "sua ter" just came out of nowhere from the bushes & walked about 2 meters away from me looking on the floor for food.

Got my camera out, set to shoot then #$@%, forgot to load film O_o

LOL... that one okay la.... imagine chiong camera out and shoot like mad and thought you got gold....in the end your lens cap is on the whole time :bheart:


If we go Ubin, we can charter the whole boat (or a few if we have more ppl) and ask the uncle to drive? slowly and we can shoot all we want while on the boat!!!

I voted for Old Changi Hospital (never shot there before). Don't we need clearance to shoot there?

Yea Derrick, I believe we need an official clearence to shoot there. If I am not wrong, Old Changi Hospital is private property, we cant really transpass.

Not sure if it is gonna be easy to obtain an official letter to shoot there.

Ps: not KTM railway la, there, just put $50, put in your "official letter" & pass it to the KTM in charge, clearence on the spot within 30seconds.. heehee.... ok I better shut up before I get into trouble :bsmilie:
 

If I recalled correctly, old changi hospital is not what it used to be anymore. They have given it a coat of paint during the period which there were talks to redevelop the place into a spa or sort. Of course, the project did not materialise and its gone back to the "abandoned" status but a far cry from the past. Also, like mentioned, the place is private property and if we are "caught" its going to be a sticker issue, especially when all of us are armed with cameras :)

Anyway, I think we should remove Old Changi hospital and maybe you guys wanna replace it another location? :)

I researched online about it and it did mentioned about future development into spa and chillout place... but no final say yet... i will see if this weekend I got chance to drop by to check it out.
