Thanks to Gary for organizing the night shoot, great outing and seeing some of the resident RF masters in action is an eye-opener event by itself. The bapoh shooting is particularly interesting, and many thanks to vince and jonathan for the refreshments. ;)

As for the brave ones who went to the fisher port. Basically it Senoko was rather friendly which was correct to the responses I got from others.

Friendly in the sense that the people who too busy with their work to bother about you taking pictures of them.
I only experienced one guy telling me no picture taking.

Arrived there 2am I would say, still not that busy, by 3am-4am, it is busy!!!!
Yep, everyone there wore boots, the floor was really wet & the wetness were all around out legs because we had water from the ground splashing all around..........

btw, I slept at 9am that day. Went home & developed 3 rolls of film. The kopi at the kopishop was so powerful, I couldnt sleep... But then again, developing screw up, no idea why.....................

What's up with recent DO problem??!! Can't be your technique...

He should be jonathan, the guy with the sporty polo T/chrome M9 who went to the fishery with you.

Ah I see!

The Senoko Fishing Port (SFP) is situated in the north of Singapore and has an area of 3.24 hectares. The port began operations in September 1997. It was constructed at a cost of about $26 million to replace the former Punggol Fishing Port.

SFP serves as a home base for the local fishing fleet of 20 off-shore and 49 in-shore fishing vessels. The facilities available include a 180 metre-long jetty, a fish wholesale market, shops, canteen and office units for the convenience of the fishing community, as well as a computerised water-batching system for the dispensing of potable water to fishing vessels.

There are 25 AVA-licensed fish merchants based at SFP, handling about 15000 tonnes of fish per annum. About half of this comprises supply landed by local fish trawlers, in-shore vessels, kelongs and fish farms, while the rest of the fish are imported.

SFP's fish wholesale market houses 36 market lots of 40 sq metres each. The business transactions take place daily from 0200 hrs to 0600 hrs, except on Monday mornings when the market is closed. Some 700 to 1000 fish retailers, fish processors and institutional buyers come daily to purchase fish.
