Oh yea guys, if you all are done with your films, post processing of digital files, please do sent me the shots as we would be printing them for the mosque.

Please do support to show our gratitude to the mosque for allowing the whole bunch of us to be shooting, explaining to us the meaning of the sacrifice, showing us around & having curry for breakfast there ;)

Gary, why don't you choose, you have better taste than me anyways. I print them all out and make an album for the mosque.

I think I'll make the choices by the end of this weekend so that everyone has time to finish up their rolls of film.

Gary, lets keep it simple, one shot from each of the shooters to begin with, so at least each of us gives a "gift" to the mosque, lets have their names on it too so its more personal. That, hopefully will be enough, if not, we choose, another few shots, I'll do postcard size prints to begin with, lay it out and see how it all fits graphically.

I'll hand-make it so its prettier and more customized, get maybe a nice album from kikki k or bookbinders with photo corners etc.

I know this is stretching it, but it would also be kinda fun if we could get some mini headshots of the contributors (like wongsans flickr avatar) so I can put it next too or along with their submission and name

What do you think?

Some of our pictures are quite "graphic" and what we like from a photographic point of view may not necessarily be appropriate. Maybe Dan, you could check with your colleague if the pictures selected are ok.:angel:

Hi CK, yes you are right, so I think gary has asked, in his earlier post, to submit only joyous photos of perhaps, mosque goers and celebrants rather than the grisly stuff instead, basically a snapshot in the life of the mosque.

I will also check with Akib and pass the images through beforehand.
 

Maybe create a new thread and re-post the pictures for Gary's selection. Makes it easier for him and also for those whom may not have posted their best pictures :)

Hmm, I think just post here, no worries, I still can go through quite easily, my monitor quite wide ;)

Will leave this open till the end of this coming weekend so everyone can finish their rolls. Prob start selection next tues/wed night
