Thank you Gary and Dave for arranging a great but tiring trip. I had a blast. Enjoyed the friendship with everyone. Ate and drank way to much!

Dave I think the only reason you came along was to eat and enjoy the drive. Your little red pocket rocket sure flies. Couldn't keep up! Think next time there is a opening for new Bridgestone track instructors, I should invite you. ( you get to drive fast on a track and teach others)

Hope to see more pics from everyone. I have to get my film developed soon. Got to stop being lazy as the rolls are piling up.

Haha.. Jon always fun to have you around!!! Bridgestone instructor? U see me too up bro. Btw, I use Michelin tyres from Thomas. Hahah!

Next time don't say out so loud lah... I do like the food in Melaka and has always enjoy driving long hours. Btw, still sad that I didn't get to eat my fried poh piah. Oh well.. there's always a next time.

Need to go DO my B&W photos soon.

kekeke

Trim balance and use my feet control rudder lah,,,,,:bsmilie:

Hey Roger... next time connect a cable release to your Lindhoff and shoot aerial shots for us! haha! Good to see you in Melaka again though briefly.

John,

Great to have you join us!

Hope this trip will make you decide to stay rooted in Singapore. We have many more cities as exciting and colourful as Malacca within 500km radius!

Yeah John, hope to see you more before u decide to return to England.

The usual "don't-mess-with-me" giving chills down my spine look. Hahh!!

:embrass::embrass::embrass:How to be fierce? Peanut seller scold me, I run far and fast!:bsmilie::

The peanut seller will scold anyone trying to take a photo of him. Happened to us last year too. Hahah!!

Hahaha! That peanut seller, I remember him.

It truly was a wonderful outing. Filled with good food, excellent drive, laughter all round, and who can forget the friendly subjects. I am positive I would find it absolutely tough to get such willing subjects in Singapore.

Didnt manage to catch his name, but he was building dolls out of cloth and paper. Could be some form of offerings that people will buy or for shadow art, I'm not sure. His quick and accurate hands were amazing. He would glue strips of self-measured designed strips of paper onto the dolls, making them look like stage actors.

His partner in the shop, who sat on a small stool, cutting measured pieces of rattan or bamboo. He would slice them into fine strips with just a regular chopper. No machines here!

Mr Raymond Yeo of Wah Aik Shoe-maker (Temple Street).
He designs and hand-sews shoes (mainly ladies) in his shop. Very friendly, and we chatted about how to make shoes. He has measured wooden blocks of feet sizes, and he bases these designs for hand-stitched sequined open toe-ed shoes. Lovely!

Our friendly Chiif, who I wonder will bring in Zeiss glass for us.....

Can John/Alex or Christian enlighten me, as I cant remember which lens I used for this shot. Was it Alex's Sonnar or John's Nokton 1.1 OR David's Zeiss? Oh man, I can remember!

And why didnt anyone tell me about the silly peanut seller? Coz I got hit too! :bsmilie:

Ben nice shots...r u using a 35mm? Noticed u really go really near to shoot most of them...

Hi Pikapig, yup the first 3 shots here were with the 35 VC. I normally go as close as I can, being careful not to break the 'safety barrier', where they show signs of me going into their comfort zone. Much easier than in Singapore:)
