Just a gentle reminder, I would like to pass on a word of caution to practice being a little street wise while we walk the streets in Malaysia. Just like bag snatchers, there are camera snatchers too. Not saying we all should be overly paranoid, just practice a bit of caution, and be well aware of your surroundings. Also try not to sling the camera to the side where the traffic is flowing. Cheers and let's go have fun

Time to think think what gear to pack

My confirmed gear just arrived this week for me to test roll in Melaka

lol! But the chrome filter for the lens I think will only be here 2 weeks later :cry:
Nevertheless, I got the Leitz chrome 58mm filter really cheap, so worth the wait!

Stunning camera and lens! White snake-skin. Very sharp. Looking forward to seeing it on Saturday.

On a practical note......where is the Jurong East National Library Roundabout? The meeting point. I can find the Jurong East bus terminal and the MRT station, but not this roundabout. Could anyone give me a pointer? What roads intersect at this roundabout? It is not marked on the google map, as far as I can tell. Thanks in advance for any help.

Just head to the main entrance of Jurong East Library. The round about is there.

I just got back from Malacca. Spent a night there. Place is really really hot and full of Chinese tourists. I booked a nice two hour Spa session on Sat afternoon, so when it's too hot to shoot I'll be relaxing and having a nice rub down.

Agreed guys!!! Let's be punctual and try to catch some morning scenes in Melaka. The last person to reach (after 7 am) will have to buy everybody a round of drinks at the Geographer's cafe. Last year, we planned for 630 am so please I encourage all of you to go there early. The cars will be parked at the roundabout.
