Venue: Chinatown
Meeting Point: Raffles Place MRT, Coffe Club above the train station, will walk to Chinatown from here.
Date: 22nd Jan 2011
Time: 1700hrs

As if the Christmas & NYE celebrations wasnt enough, we now have the fast incoming Chinese Near Year approaching just round the corner!

In the good spirit of CNY celebrations, I'm proposing the Jan RF.SG monthly outing to be in Chinatown to bask in the good traditions of prosperity, wealth & good health in Chinatown to usher in the year of the Rabbit!

Understand Chinatown has been shot quite a fair bit by us but its Chinese New Year, I'm pretty sure the scene would be quite a different one!

Let me know if you guys got other locations in mind!

I've just updated the meeting point location. Inside MRT seems too boring.

Changed to above the train station, Coffee Club. You guys can have makan & kopi to perk yourself up first before we head out:

Please note that all are invited to join RF.SG's monthly shoot out. Doesn't matter if you dont have a RF. After one meet up, you prob turned up at the next one with a RF. heehee.......................

I will keep this in view. THe main issue is that I would have just landed at 12+ from a long trip from the US and I might be too jetlagged to join.

usually for long haul flights, I hit 2 bottles of wine in the airport followed by a couple of rounds of beer/whiskey/wine on the plane. Knocks myself out & awake with only 2-3hours left in the flight to arrival in Changi :thumbsup:

we wouldnt laugh at contax!!! Its Zeiss glass!!!

I think there are quite a few guys using contax.

The thing I love about these vintage cameras, its always only 3 settings, focusing, aperture, shutter all self set, so when something screws up, you can only point the guilty finger to yourself!

Anyway, its really good to see quite a fair bit of new faces in the outing! Learn, share, poison :thumbsup:

This time I will try to remember to have a group shot! The past few outings forgot to take group shots, especially the Mosque outing when we had such a big group.

No worries, this time I got my handy GRDIII to take group shots
