The theme for Jan 2010 is "A New Beginning".

Hi guys! A very happy new year to all you folks out there. This month's theme would be "A New Beginning" to represent the new year 2011

Please post top 3 photos that you feel have captured that moment. Please ENSURE you include a TITLE for your submission and either write a short summary of why your pics suited the theme stated or simply let the photos do the talking for you.

Rules are very simple:

1. Competition period Jan 6 to Jan 31th 2011
2. Please submit 3 of your best shots with a short explanatory into your submission by Jan 30th 2011
3. All entries will be judged American Idol style by your fellow members
4. Judging period will be from Feb 1st to Feb 7th, 2011
5. Top 3 entries will be posted by Feb 8th 2011: winner has bragging rights for the rest of the month (haha) and be submitted to the Hall of Fame thread (wow!)

We reserve the right not to include any picture without any title in the voting.

Thanks Thomas. First shot taken with RD1, amedeo adapter to Contax rf CZ Sonnar 50 1.5

The IR shot was taken sometime back with an M8, Hexanon 28mm 2.8 with IR filter.
