Finally getting my hands on a Yashica Electro 35 GS tomorrow. Am a Nikon D700 user and exploring into RF(possible full migration to RF) if it suits me afteralll.

Read many good reviews about RF world from our local forum here and www. world(e.g. Steve Huff). Hoping RF buddies would guide me along.

Looking forward to a M6 classic body soonest possible.

Hello,

Congratulations!

Some things to take note. Please make sure you check the working condition of the camera. Make sure the light seals are intact, meter is working, film advance, etc all in working condition.

Best to run a test roll of some cheapy film and process it as soon as possible and make sure there isn't anything excessively wrong with it.

If you find Leicas too costly for you, you can sell some of your digital gear to fund one. By any chance if you did not like the experience and hassle of processing/buying films and etc, or the manual controls of the camera; you can sell it at the same price you bought it (considering that you didn't damage or blemish it).

There is no definite better/cooler/more fun way to use a camera. There is only one that works for you. If you find that you often need the flexibility of a zoom, nothing is stopping you from getting a SLR or dSLR.
