here are the comparism based on eugene's findings today with WK at J316
Tammy:
Sharper overall
Brighter
Sigma:
20cm macro claims is actually 5cm when tried.
not as sharp as tamron
darker(same settings,ISO,aperture.donno why darker)
A check online shows the OOF curve of the Sigma and the straight line of the tamron,and sigma's build quality is more commendable.
BUT. Sigma is canon turning type ): I prefer Nikon's turning.

What do u mean by darker and brighter? jus adjust the exposure to ensure they have the same exposure can le ma.. or they use M mode? and they jus change lens w/o changing the setting? cant be the case.. imho ... Yea of cus Nikon's turning is better la!!!LOL! if i am not wrong, tamron is Nikon's turning..haha!

Er..the 50-500 totally cant handle for long de.. comfirm need mono.. i try b4.. handheld..chances of shaking is high esp at 500mm~ and its a freaking long lens-.- and what tele is the 1.465kg lens u are talking about uh?:bigeyes:

yah lah i buy those lens confirm get monopod one.
my dad said if want buy telephoto straight save up to get the fast one,once and for all.
hmm i think the APO HSM 70-200? i forgot.
Eh.. they are kinda different de wor.. like 70-200 u handheld long still ok leh.. so it can be like used for portriat.. which is good~~!! and 50-500 more like i think more not flexible..
