Revised Charges for Rental of CompactDrive PD7X

[Pinoy]

Items being rented out:
- Complete CompactDrive PD7X package
- 20GB Portable Storage space (ie 20GB 2.5" IBM HDD)
- 4 pcs Sanyo 2300mAh rechargeable batteries
- RipVan OEM Battery Charger

Rental fees are as follows:
- $ 8.00 for the first three days
- $ 2.50 per day in excess of 3 days :sweatsm:
- $15.00 per week (7 days) :bigeyes:

Terms and Conditions:
- Minimum 3 Days Rental
- Owner shall not be held responsible for any lost or corrupt images resulting from the use of the unit
- A refundable deposit of S$50 is required
- S$200 will be charged in the (unfortunate) event that the unit gets damaged or lost
- Photocopy of an ID (NRIC, Employment Pass, Student's ID etc) as well as contact numbers are required.
- Collection: Preferrably at an MRT between Simei and Bedok during weekdays. Weekend collection can be arranged to my convenience.

am going for a 10 day trip in M'sia & dun wanna waste $$ getting extra memory cards.
can i loan ur stuff from 22 dec till 4 jan? dat will be 14 days @ $30?
btw, issit compatible for Canon Ixus i5, using the following memory cards: 1) Canon SD 32MB & 2) Lexar Media SD 128MB?
if compatible, pls confirm my loan

Sorry but a fellow CSer has already made reservation for the unit from 24 Dec to 4 Jan. You may want to source from other CSers (ie drumma etc) providing similar rental services.

As for your question, yes. The PD7X supports SD Cards.

I bought the unit @ $200+, without the HDD. The new model, PD70X can be bought for $200+ as well... again, without a HDD.

If your portable hard disk is those 2.5" types, then you can use them in the PD7X and PD70X units.
