When is it going to be out?

Bottom line should be those who have the old ver should keep theirs! Nt worth making the jump, ditching the old for the new, Its too much a premium to pay for a better VR performance.

Those on FX who dun own any should get the new one..
DX owners... since only using the center of the img, might as well look for used (older ver) in the 2nd hand mkt, bound to be alot of B/S activity gg on in upcoming mths..:bsmilie:
Why~?! Typical singaporean like to go for newer things (wa ma si sin ka po lang..;p)

I tested the VRII but I haven't tested the VRI. Anyone has the VRI to test? Or rent?

I would imagine many folks to be using large apertures with defocussed background most of the time, and the slight vignetting and soft corners would be a nice touch. :bsmilie:

but for individuals who clearly got tripped by the apparent weaknesses, i guess Nikon has just pleased consumers by making another wonderful zoom to join ranks with the slew of 14-24/24-70 ..

I think i have too much emotions for my old trusty 70-200 ... need to go sayang it later
