Review of A2, what you want to see?

A bigger pixel means larger light (photon) collecting area. This makes each pixel gather more light resulting in less noisy picture.

In terms of sensitivity, I think A1 is more superior than A2 because the latter packs 8M pixel into the same CCD block of 2/3". However, A2 yields better resolution.

I'm still considering A1...

By the way, do you guys know that those broadcast level digital video camera (use for TV/news/movies) has only 500K (0.5M) pixels on their 2/3" CCDs and they costs tens of thousands of dollars?

Haa... black black face, you also bought one?? :bsmilie:.

I've tried it last night at the IT show. I think I will wait for 7D.. kekeke...

EVF still can't replace OVF yet, although A2 EVF is definitely better than the rest. The problem is, when I zoom and focus concurrently, the screen starts to freeze and jerky (its ok when doing either one alone). Maybe, it just doesn't suits my shooting style.

Meanwhile, I still can use my Dynax 7 happily.. ;)

Cheers!

Hmm..... if the D7D sells at the same price point and has more pro features, it might just turn the fortumes of KM around..... in any case if I am a Mikon user, I'll wait a bit before buying in..... wait for all the bugs and like to sort themselves out first and wait for the price to drop below $2000. Should happen in 3-6 months time. Just look at the 300D. It's retailing for $1.6K now? It was just selling for $1999 when it was launched like 3-4 months back?

The war between Canon and Nikon is definitely on, when Canon announced that "over 70% of DSLR users uses Canon" last year. Apparently both 300D and D70 kits are sold at the same price on the IT show. The gals are prettier over at the Canon side though! :bsmilie:

And not to mention the Canon EOS1D MkII in the shelf! *drool*

Just wondering whether Dynax 7D would be out in 6 months time. Think I might actually save enough half a year later to get it!

300D and D70 sold at the same price? Hmm....... then who would want to buy the 300D unless it comes with a super bundle. Someone on CS posted a quote some weeks ago that the 300D was going for like $1.6K+, just the standard kit alone.... $600 is a lot more dough for freebies yeah?

Don't know man! Maybe those who want to boast that they are one of the people that chose Canon? One statistics to the 70% of DSLR user? :dunno:
