Dear All,
Kindly let me know how to use a reverse ring adaptor to try macro.

1.Which lens should i use as a reversed element.
2.If i fit the reverse lens adaptor , should i need to work in Maual focus mode??
3.Currently i have a sigma 18-200 lens, if i reverse mount a lens, then should i manually adjust focus ring in 2 lenses to get sharp focus??

Thanks.

1) Depends on you, most adapters have 52 or 58mm filter threads, I use a nikkor 50mm 1.8 cos there's a manual aperture ring. If you are using a lens with a larger filter thread you have to get step down ring. Have to get a male to male coupler if you use the 2 lens setup.

2) Yes, nothing else other than manual will work, the camera won't even detect that there's a lens.

3) The focusing ring won't help at all, you are the focusing ring, move closer or further from the subject to get your focus.

Hope that helps:)
