Restoring an old Olympus 35 SP

I recently found an old Olympus 35 SP which belonged to my deceased Dad and upon inspection, I noticed that there are fungus inside the lens and the viewfinder is quite dirty as well. As the battery is dead, I'm not sure if the metering still works.

I was wondering how much would it cost to restore the camera and where abouts can I do it?

You can try Camera Hospital
It's located at #01-67 Sunshine Plaza, 91 Bencoolen St
You can call Steven at 63360025 and ask for a quote regarding the pricing

I used to have the same camera, it uses a px625 battery which you can get from Ruby Photo

hi,

my suggestion is if you are sentimental about it, then get another body off the net, and give it to a local shop to rebuild. I did exactly that, got a chrome 35sp, the shutter had problems, got another black body, and gave it to P&G to rebuild. Cost me a pretty penny but the results were awesome.
