Resolution and Size...

Havent really seen topics on this so I'll like to ask.
Whats the ideal resolution for different size of photo( for best quality)?

From my understanding, for 4R size photos, a 1600x1200 is needed.
Can anyone enlighten me on the other sizes?

For 1600x1200 TIFF or low-compression JPEG...can go till 6R.

Im using HQ mode of my C2100(medium compression? File size around 800k)
Will it give me film quality photos at 6R size?

ALMOST film quality, look at it from 15cm and u can tell the difference. I'm basing my judgement from your file size only. What are the dimensions??

Contrary to popular belief, 1600 x 1200 is even good enough for 8x10". Don't be unduly worried about resolution. As long as you have enough of it.

For 4R, 1600x1200 is way more than enough.

8X10" is wat size ah?
I always get confused with the size when they state it in inch...

6x4" is the normal 4R size rite?
