Repair Seagull

Hi guys,

Where can I repair a seagull camera?

Anyone knows of a shop?

Try asking a quote from K-13! They should be able to repair. Located at peninsula level 2. Right on top of Konata Dept. Cheers

Why not try Cam.X or TCW? K13 is one of those shops I avoid at all cost.

Fellow fotog had his heirloom Seagull TLR restored to mint cond. :thumbsup:
Pretty good workmanship.

I think many many people have had BAD experiences at K13, including myself just lastweek. And I think berandsia is right, its a shop to avoid at all cost. So when you mentioned it, people get upset.

They wanted to charge me $1xx to just fix a knob on my TLR, Which off course I decline. I went home and took a good look and all it needed was aa screw tightened. What a rip off this guy is. BTW, it was the young guy who "served" me. Then, when I asked to take a look at a yashica electro 35, he was very reluctant. Finally, when I asked to look at another 35 electro as the first was cosmetically bad, he said "no". I said thanx and walked out immediately. TCW would never do this kinda thing, they will let you view until you are satisfied. I would have bought a electro 35 if only his attitude was customer friendly. I think this shop is just rotting away slowly. My buddies actually told me to forget this shop, but i just wanted to try it for myself. Well, they were right.

Oh, BTW, Alan Photo is another of this "ah beng" shops to avoid at all cost, well, at least for me and my gang.

They have a few things I was intrested in. Besides the bad service, their prices are consistently double or more of anybody else. From cameras to bags to filters. I guess that is the reason why they have stock when everybody else has ran out. I have never bought anything from them, though I have walked in and enquired at least three times. I won't be back again that is for sure.

K-13 is the last place I would recommend anybody to. I won't even do that to my enemies.
