U so benevelonce arh oni 2yrs n rotan? At least min 24yrs mah + max rotan 24?

For a "holy man" 10 months in confinement is nothing.

He just meditates all day and frees his mind to wander among tall pines in high mountain, lotus ponds, flowing mountain streams etc etc.

Hope he drops his soap many times :D

Some get stiffer sentences upon appeal.

My blessings go to him to reflect on his wrongful deeds.

Somehow, i feel sorry for the ren ci organisation. There are many dependents on the system. With his bad reputation, the really needy people suffer.

It really leaves one to wonder why Buddhism teachings and all the meditations can lead to this  Could this be some sort of "sacrifice" for a greater good?

:bsmilie: Buddhism teachings dun lead to all this! Under the Buddhism teachings n Laws of Karma he will need to pay for his deeds much much more.....

GREED is the one leading to all this!

it's a pipe dream to think that someone can be incorruptible...

i say the sentence is too light thats why more and more charities are doing such acts. If i am the person i will say, heck, just lock me up for 10 months loh, i come out i got so much money to spent (assuming they are smart enough to hide and park these money out of singapore).

sentence them to 20-30 years then see how they spent the money they 'steals'! that should make an example to all.

well, how many organization out there are clean anyway... regardless of which religion, sometimes u wonder why they can have lavish buildings, offices, cars etc...

this is an honest mistakes ... even a monk has needs.

Honest? Giving false statements by a monk even when he's arrested. You call this honest?

And what need he has? Need for more $$$ perhaps.

needs.......a monk is also a man......you means he can have needs also......and that is also a honest mistake?:devil:
