I have two remotes, one IR, the other is a radio remote. Bought them both at sg camera store, IR at 12 bucks and Radio at 38. IR is cheap due to limited range and the fact that you can only fire it when the camera is facing you ( Just select remote under drive mode), but it is convenient as it's just a mini remote. The radio remote has good range and can be fire from virtually anywhere within it's range ( 100m for mine) but the only set back is that you've got a receiver plugged into your remote slot. I run a A33 with these two remotes.
