If all that you mentioned above is what you wanted, there are many of them around elsewhere am I right? if you are so artistic you wouldn't be challenging all the comments and critique that this picture really cannot make it..
people post here for help on technicality and poses, looks to a certain extent but i think your vision might have been masked by certain issues you call art
true enough but i still think what many mentioned about the technical issues still overweighs artistic factors..

Yes I agree that the model is attractive, but having the model pose in that way in the last pic isn't artistic anymore in my opinion. Like some others have said, it look like it's out of a Japanese soft porn photobook. But perhaps this what what the photoshoot was about in the first place?

Agreed with that, TS posted the photos for sharing and not C&C or else he would have posted it in the critique corners.

See what I mean......less than 2 days, the comments(well OT comments) and the viewing just shot up like sky rocket. Normally some other members when they post, it will take a long time to reach comments above 20 over posts and 2,000 plus viewership.
But..............when it comes to Bree or Jeanie stock...........CS stock will rally at least a couple of hundred points. Just do a check on any of their names and you will see what I mean. Actually wanted to open a thread like this in Kopitiam thread but I better don't. Bad health for the boys club in here.

When photos get posted, there are bound to have comments. Unless is SPECIALLY stated by the thread starter not to comment on the model or his photo quality, then just lock the thread.hmmm... then i wonder what are those "critique corners" are all about

There is not any way to stop people from not commenting photos (especially those photos) which TS posted. Look at the photograph again and compare with the rest of others being posted. Do you find any significantly big differance?

if i have more than one photo i want to critique, let's see 50 of a series

Humm....... when I take pictures, it is for my memories in my later years. And when I share with people I dont expect them to comment on how I should take them better. As my intention is to share my life thru the pictures on subjects like Travel,outing, friends etc with them.
Imagine when you show your holiday pictures to your friend and they started to do a critique instead of sharing the joy of your vacation.....:sweat: Or when you show them a photo of your Girlfriend then they start saying "Why you chop off her fingers and the hair is messy, you should know better" ..... this doesnt serve the purpose of you just wanting them to look at your pictures.
Of course there are time when I want to take some "more serious photos" with all the "Rules of Photography" in mind. When I share it or post it, it will be with the intention of improving myself, I will ask for comments and in what areas that I can improve in. Now the purpose of sharing is different, it is to learn and improve.
When a photo is posted, it should be treated with respect and not making critique when not ask for, because the poster did not as for it in the 1st place. All he want to do is to share the photos with others. I wonder how many of you actually comment so much on others pictures when they show it to you without asking for comments outside CS, I am sure not many will do that as it is very rude to do that.
CS is not a place only for Pros to post their photos, I believe anyone can post their photos to show others without critique right ?(Subject only to the right section of course), Please correct me if I am wrong.
When we post in Critique Corner, we are there to learn from feedbacks and comments. Everyone understand that.
When we post in Photo Gallery, we are there just to show our photos.

I have came across many posting in Photo Gallery asking for C&C and thus their intention is clear, they are there for comments and there to learn. So you may still post it here but remember to ask for C&C ( Guess this is a loop hole ...) :bsmilie:
Maybe Relax shoot means something like.... snapshot? Without thinking so much about the technicality aspect, just snap. TS pls advice.....

if it is a non-photographer, one who has not embraced the hobby, then obviously diplomacy would be in the book
which is why if i see a thread where people who post obviously have not much idea with regards to what they are doing
and do not ask for comments, none is given
in this case, i think most people assumed that johnstontsg actually has an idea of what he's doing, shrug
in any case, most of the people here, if not for photography, then for what?
