Regarding RAW formats

hi all, i would like to ask a question which is

By adjusting exposure in PS for a RAW, is it the same as tweaking the exposure on camera.

for example, i adjust the exposure for the RAW to -1 on PS, is it the same as shooting -1 exposure?

my answer is should be the same. just test to confirm it.

It attempts to do the same but it is not the same.

Shoot at normal exposure. Then take another shot at -5 EV.

Take the 2nd shot at -5 EV and boost the exposure up 5 EV.

Compare the modified 2nd shot with the 1st shot. Will they look the same? My bet is that they will not be the same.
