Very interesting set of lenses to release... and I think, very expensive too! :sweatsm:

I think it's about time that they revamped the 70-200/2.8 with a carl zeiss one even though the current one is good... Hopefully, there'd be a flood of cheap 70-200 f2.8 Gs coming when this new ZA's released (wishful thinking) :lovegrin:

Did anyone noticed the dynamic range of these RED cams. 10 to 13 stops DR...that's incredible for a digital format!

50D is 15mp only, and ISO 800-1600 noisy, no HD-DV also

but nikon and sony new 16MP dslr has good ISO noise control and HD-DV...so canon drop to bottom again, maybe is not bottom, pentax is the bottom:sweatsm:

Yupe.. that's what is so amazing about the RED announcement when it first came out... everyone thought it would be vapourware... but now it's here and it's as good as they say it is... based on what I read... even Peter Jackson has got into the act by shooting a very short clip with the camera... likes it, may actually use it... great for pure digital work flow...
