Hi All, this topic has been on my mind since i have been experimenting with the M8.2 for the past week... and there are situations where i really wished i had my flash..
I'm looking at the 270Ex or sunpak rd2000 (cheaper) but could not really find much info on people using this set up.. I went to a leica dealer to ask around.. immediately the shop owner discourage me to use Canon flash on leica as it will damage the motherboard and warned me "we are not responsible for spoiling ur Leica", "better to use Leica flash"..
But looking at forums, tonnes of people use third party flashes.. I'm really looking at 270Ex as it can bounce.. sunpak rd2000 is like 100 buck cheaper and can bounce too, but really can't find any info on usage with Leica Ms..
Any advice is great!
