Yes the C-5c with ball head is 1.5kg, the ball head is about 0.3kg (spec is as in the Fotopro link MM shown above). The tripod without ball head is 1.17kg (from the spec sheet included with the tripod). Comparing the C-4c and C-5c, personally I would go with the C-5c, as the later is a lot more sturdier and better built and would justify the extra 500g. And the C-5c is not only higher when fully extended (1.56m vs 1.44m excluding center column), it is also shorter when folded (43cm vs 47cm) and can go lower (17cm vs 19cm).
I agree. If I want to get the C4C, I'd stick with my Sirui T025. Replaceable ballhead, lighter, and similar height.
