well i have been using a sb800 and just got another last week it worth the price :thumbsup: btw if u choose sb600 due to personal reason it also a good choice , cant go wrong with either speedlight .

I'm a D80 user and had the same decision to make like you b4. I bought the SB800 and never regret it. SB800 comes with the built-in bounced card and diffuser as an add-on. I find using the diffuser indispensable. If you want better recycle rate, which i find very useful, just add an extra battery that comes with SB800. I doubt SB600 comes with these features.

Just think that photography is about light and you should have a good speedlight.

ive been using the d70s for quite a while now (1yr<), and want to get a speedlight. i think the sb-800 should be ok (if its cheap - $600>). do u guys know where to get it cheap?

SB800 $600 is usually grey set. Look at market place for MO, or can try TCW for grey set.

Last time I got it $500 from CSer name Tongeh. Grey set, but, it is ok for me.

I don't like to buy 2nd hand flash, as the GN of the flash decrease with age and usage.
