Recommendation for Canon Camera?

Oh.. For the swivel, it will allow me to take a family selfie without using a remote or people's help. Hehe.

If you are interested in selfie, there are more than 1 way to take photo other than the usual self timer or using IR remote control with the LCD screen facing you.

I am using Canon SX50HS. It was only after the product training, I learnt there were additional 2 or more ways. You can set it to take the picture when you smile or wave your hand. Or several poses with one setting. Those fun loving fellows will enjoy these functions.

I assume the Canon DSLR mid range will have the same selfie function as SX50HS


I am more to birdings and landscape shots. Never explore further on those selfie after the product training.

You may want to add 35 f/2 IS for baby photos. Great for subject isolation.
