Recommendation for camera

Newbie for photography but my main will be to take photos of animals and underwater photography. Not sure what I should get or what will be recommended but will need something that has underwater housing.

Also, need advise if it will be better to get the mirrorless cams?

by underwater photography, I assume you are diving.

a) Olympus OM-D EM-1 and a Nauticam NA-EM1 housing
b) Sony a6000 and a Backscatter Sony housing but you may have choice issue with Sony wide angle lens. Zeiss 12mm I think?

Best and cheap solution is to get both mirrorless for animals and underwatwer instead of one camera.
A rugged compact that is water proof to a few meters (no need for housing)? Unless you want to be like the late Jacque Cousto (underwater adventurer/documentarist)which is costly. What kind of animals, pets or wildlife?

My EM1 MK2 got a bit of water, and was totally dead. Olympus refused to repair it, claming I submerged it in water. But it was a little splash. Olympus claims on its flagship being waterproof is all a lie, what's worse, they refused to claim warranty.
That's why I sold my entire Olympus sub set (it's my main system anyways, it's far from PRO) off and never to touch it again.
And never get underwater housing from online, it's all fakes. Bought one for $200+ Nautica, it failed me.

The only waterproof cameras I recall from Olympus are the TG tough series. I dont recall any ads claiming the EM1 Mark II as being waterproof. Just saying ....

I agree with Bluesubm6.
Think E-M1 mark II is dust, freeze and splash proof. but not waterproof.
