Hi all,

I have a budget of $1500. May I ask what is a good camera to start with?

I have interest in mainly architecture, landscapes and portraits shooting.

:) thanks for the advises.

Welcome,
I would suggest reading up the three areas of interest to have a general idea
of what minimum equipment is required (it's mostly to do with the type of lenses).
Your stated budget can only get an entry level camera with kit lens commonly 28 -85mm
(35mm equivalent). As for image sensor you can consider APSC or M43.APSC being the bigger one.

Do not be fooled by the term entry level camera as you are only limited by your imagination
and skills. We all have to start somewhere. The three areas of interest require different skillsets.;)

Can have more details as this topic is very wide.

Eg any specific brand, big or small cameta perfer? and ur place of shooting. Across a river or right infront of the building or even interior shooting ?

Any old camera that does manual will work. It is more important for the beginner to understand aperture ~ f stop, shutter speed, and ISO than worry about what camera you have. I recommend spending at least two thirds of budget on a set of lenses. Get yourself prepared by having a wide range of focal lengths because that is what will lead you to good photos. Well that and a few thousand snaps. Study. Practice.

The question you have put forth is like saying I have 75K $ to spend on a new car what should I buy? My answer is like saying learn the traffic laws and rules of the road first then go drive all over the place. Soon you will be the next Mario Andretti hopefully. :)
