minolta series..got f1.7...or yashica gsn...f1.8

If you are concerned abt budget and size wise, I would recommend the Olympus XA.

if you dont have canonet you are not allowed to go to "analog hawker" :bsmilie:

Minolta 7sII, I'm using it. Ultra compact, allows for manual settings, automatic (shutter priority), ƒ1.7 lens. Issues are, availability, 40mm lens, shitty finder, cost.

there is a section on "Affordable Fixed Lens RF Cameras?" in the sticky if you're looking to enter world of RF without burning a big hole in your pocket.

Some of my recommendations are Olympus 35RC, canonet QL17, Yashica GSN. :)

my fixed lens RF: Canonet QL17 for more serious shooting and Olympus XA to bring anywhere, anytime..
plus, both are relatively cheap and easy to find..
now i know that i don't need other RF than these two.. (of course i still WANT other RF..)

check my flickr for sample shots from these two cameras..

just choose the cheapest one in mintest condition and start saving. in the end you want to upgrade to those interchangeable one, I believe :bsmilie:
