Recommend me a hd camcorder to record badminton games.

As above.

Currently using a sony DCR SX45 to record our games. But this camcorder only capable for Sd. Anyone got recommendations?
Video quality not to my groups expectation.

Ryan seems very happy with the JVC E-200. $299 from Mustafa.
If you are filming near ringside ( courtside?) Panasonic HCV700 may be handy with its 28mm wide angle. But even then, it's unlikely you can get the whole court in.Two E-200 perhaps?
A GoPro clamped to the net post might provide an interesting perspective.

Does ryan has any sample videos taken from his jvc? The main problem now is my camcorder shoots at sd quality, not sharp enuff.

My friend uses a nikon d5200 to record occasionally but it will shut down after a while becos his camera gets too hot.

You are upgrading for SD to FullHD on the E200. The difference will be very stunning. You will get a four times boost in screen size, at least 2 stops of light sensitivity, cleaner image with very much less noise with the backlit sensor.
