Recommend flash for my new D600.


Dont need it frankly..... and I just turn it of every time ive hammered my SB-900 to the point where I "almost" can't hold the batteries when they run out ( hot ).

Ive not heard any reports of burnt out flash... I may be wrong / I also never googled.

Use it / Love it / if it breaks buy new one........

SB800 is famous for flash tube blow outs....

Aiya... SB-800 is unprotected, SB-900 had an over zealous thermal cut off.

Both aren't ideal. But they were the best Nikon had to offer during their tenure!

Which is why I thought the SB910 is so good.
 

i had sb600, then sb900, now sb700 :D
hv not use the sb700 yet, jus bought today :D
back to nikon now that my 2 kids r bigger and can take care of themselves better without me carryin their milk bottles:D

too expensive for me...lol...
savin up the difference for a 50 f1.4
 

I got 3 sb 800s for a number of years eh. So far, nothing happen. I did have to replace the hot shoe once though...
