Recommend a loupe for 4x5

recommend rodenstock 4x loupe.. i am using it.. should be around your budget

As recommended by sfoto100, Rodenstock is really good. There are two of them currently on auction now which are pretty good prices compared to new in BH. Depending on the level of details you want to see, here are two of them.

The 3X can view 6x6 MF in full frame

While the 6X can view 35mm film in full frame.

Alternatively, you can consider the Pentax 5.5x loupe (It was available a few months back and its discontinued now! :()

I've been taking my time to find a good loupe for my 4x5; have been getting by with my $2 diaso one, but it's killing my eyes.

Any recommendations? Don't want to break the bank, budget in the $100+ ballpark...

Found this on ebay, anyone tried it? Dunno if it's any good.. eBay Australia: Buy new & used fashion, electronics & home dr

I'm using this loupe, long enough to reach the GG of the Speed Graphic without having to remove the hood. So far so good.

I guess I missed your point. You mean for ground glass focusing? Not for film viewing? Sorry! My above post is meant for film viewing.

I've been using this

I also using this loupe, but I have problem holding the loupe while the ground glass good is up... Planning to look for a longer one...

Yeah I think it's more for looking at negatives, very hard to use with ground glass shade as it's too short.

yup got this loupe as well, and loving it. hardly use the darkcloth since as well. works like a charm...

Doctor Optics 8x for me. Very useful for focusing light bean during ultra low light shooting. Very useful for fine focusing if your lens meets the lpmm and your film is very fine grain. But I guess it is not common outside now.:embrass: I got mine for around $80+ years ago, IDK the price now.
