Will mAh has any effect on the recycle time..say a 2000mAh vs 2500mAh?

No. The capacity only affects battery life. The higher capacity, the longer the battery life.

Varta i think came out with NiMH much longer than GP and Sanyo.
My very first set of NiMH batts are from Varta, which at that time (maybe 15yrs ago) is damn ex.

Despite many good reviews and word-of-mouth recommendation of Sanyo batts, I am totally disppointed with it. I believe they are just hype and overrated.
At any time, i would rather go for GP (even though many people are poisoning this brand)

As for enelop and recyko, which one is better?
