This guy Ken is really a barrel of laughs. He constantly contradicts himself while fooling everyone else.

My D200 is faster because it operates much faster and more intuitively with features like Auto ISO, and I have a Nikon 18-200mm VR lens which lets me shoot everything with one lens. I can turn and fire, and my D200 always gets the shot without having to twiddle settings.

Also he does not believe in RAW, Spot Metering.
He advocates uber high FPS shooting. 1 nice shot in 10 aint bad.

i think he is serious enough that nikon made him a left hander camera
Here's another thing about that too..have anyone seen a shot of the camera in his site? I don't mean that one of him using it with a large lens but one in which he just shot a product shot of it? I have yet to see one.

He is someone who has strong views on photography, no different from many of us on the forum; what distinguishes him from the rest is his ability to express his views lucidly and forcefully.

I enjoy reading the articles posted on his site. He is unashamedly biased and refreshingly candid. He has strong opionions, true....but he is able to back them up with photographic examples. I certainly do not agree with some of his opinions (tripods are not necessary when you're shooting digital?!), but he does mention that his opinions are coloured by the way he shoots and the type of subject matter he prefers. Come to think of it, his site is really like a blog, only that it's not exactly structured like one.
But throughout his site, his articles and his opionions, there is one over-riding theme: Only your photographic results matter. Good photographs do not necessarily result from good cameras (read "latest" and "most expensive"), but good cameras do make the process of obtaining great photographs a lot easier.
This is a good philosophy to have. Far too many people equate the latest and greatest with their ability to take "good" photographs.

Not to go head to head with you over this, because I whole-heartedly concur with your philosophy of having great photographic results above anything else, but having an unashamedly biased opinion through lambasting rival camera makers isn't a very particularly ethical way of being a photographer. In the photographic world, its "to one to each and own", for it boils down to a photographer's personal preference. Because it is only personal preference can empower you to get over the problems each camera make has in the image-making process.
Now if you hate a camera to the core, even if others proclaim it to be the best, you wouldn't be exactly shooting great stuff with it, ain't it? Because you are so bent on hating the camera rather than concentrating on shooting great photos. =)
