Waiting for the yet to be announced Pentax FF? Seriously, I'll think about it when I can actually see it up close in person.
Getting the K-5IIs makes a lot of sense for me because I get to use all my existing FA and DA series lenses NOW.
Sure there are some existing Pentax lenses that should cover the FF image circle BUT you can be sure there will be a a new range of lenses for FF when Pentax unveils the rumored FF camera. Great as the old FA Limiteds are image quality wise, screwdrive is already so old tech... so waiting for a new generation of fast and silent focusing AF lenses.

We lost one kaki to Nikon as he got a D700 and is slowing selling off Pentax gears.

Unless I want to carry those biggy lenses or spend about 3.5K to buy a new system (which I can but choose not to), its not really fantastic news to me.

Btw, that bundled cleaning kit will sure come in handy for the D600 for now

D700 full frame is only 1700 sgd on 2nd hand market now.

just 200 sgd adove K5IIs, if people want to jump, they jump already.

I sold my Pentax DSLR already, jumped to Pentax film full frame camera now, just 50 sgd for a full frame pentax .... film.
