nothing for MF? :p

hahaha if only it were possible....

I have a feeling we shouldn't expect fantastic ISO, probably ISO100...

no, leh.. the website says ISO400.. it's under tech spec..
haha..

if it's not a joke, i think it's worth the try.. :)

Looking at the rate sensors are developing, I think this will be a reality in 2 to 3 years time. If that happens, it will kill a lot of digital camera makers. And make second hand camera dealers very rich...

So, stock up all the old RF, SLR cameras & lenses!

i think the birth of digital cartrige won't be just a fantasy.. start stocking up now!!!

Another Silicon Film!? Wait long long my friend!

i actually a similar concept a few years back, they were aiming to make 1.2mp sensors for 35mm cameras but it never materialized.. i hope this one comes to fruition!

Wow, It'll be a dream come true.

1.2 MP sensors are pretty useless anyhow. You'd need at least 4 or so to get decent resolution.

2001! Wow. Well, it has been 10 years since and sensor technology has leaped in bounds, along with processing technology.

Thanks Sim for sharing...

I believe when the sensor technology matures coupled with open source technology, some independent manufacturers will bring this idea to fruition.

I remember there were rumour that Nikon and Canon are behind the collapsed of Silicon Film, they felt threaten by the film that if it really went production and their sales would plunge. Of cause just rumour.

I would love to see this come to fruition. Then we can all have "M9"s at a much lower price point. :)
