Hi,

These are interesting pics, thanks for sharing them.

As you've mentioned that this is your FIRST ATTEMPT, I can say that your shots are AWESOME. Even some DSLR owner who owns a DSLR camera for quite sometime, till up to date they still can't shoot actions event. Keep on practicing dude. Rgrds.:thumbsup::thumbsup:

No problem. It is all about sharing ideas.

Thanks for the kind words. Actually I owns a DSLR only for two months plus. Still learning to shoot properly plus a lot to learn from masters here..

Arghh...I know you bro..!! Join me and STS into the fun. ;) Fly heli, come down rest, take camera and shoot helis.

Hehehe, roger?
I stop flying for now, sold all my birds left Trex500, small and portable, anytime deployable . My kid needs most of my time, the left overs are for this hobby that I can do anytime anywhere :bsmilie:

Dun give up man..keep one bird at least you can fly..This new hobby is more expensive than flying but very worthwhile since we can share the moment with the family. :D

Come Tamp flying site you will see me and STS taking pics now and then.

This new hobby more expensive than heli, you must be joking, if you dare go do your sums of the $$$ you spent on RC .... :bsmilie:

Okz I'll try to drop by if possible. Great to smile some nitro once a while. You guys still hot into Rappy50?

Yeah..Rappy is still the best..

Trust me..you can spend a lot of $$ on camera stuff..I mean a lot but the thing is the stuff you can keep for long. Unlike helis, you crash you fix or sell or get little back. Camera is different: You spend and when you sell you dun lose much. :)

I already blow $6K in less than 2 months..

Yupz.. I think it's Victor. That should be his 12s Eraptor I think... power setup...

Yup, its Victor.;)

TMD ... got 7D with small white, big white, still dare to be called newbie...;(

I used to dabble in RC cars long ago...so i cant help but ask:

How does a heli fly inverted? Coz the downforce of the blades keeps it the right way up, how does the blade provide the 'inverted' air pressure? Does it have something to do with the 2nd blade on top? Or does it have a 'reverse' spin for the engine? Cant be the reverse spin! it needs so much power!

Negative pitch will keep the heli inverted. In layman term is the angle of the main blade changes to keep the heli floating inverted.

Whoa! That means you need another servo to change this 'pitch'?
What size engines are these birds?

is there an event or something that i can go to to take photos... ?

woah cool stuff. Great try on your first attempt. Keep trying, you'll improve just a tip. imaging you only had 36 shots in your camera, how are you going to make the best out of it.
Btw usually when do they fly? Might wanna go down an join the fun :)
