do you mean the cost to get into RC ?
here in the US, usually around $200-ish for the entry level model, up to thousands for more expert model.
also depend on what add-ons you gonna add to your model (aluminum parts, performance parts, etc).
or if you mean the cost of that particular RC, the Wrangler, Cheerokee and the Land Rover ?,
I dont know, because I didnt see their price tag.

Well, all I can say is it really depends on individual as the prices varies accordingly eg. I bought my Kyosho set at SGD$339 for the MR-03RM Car and SGD$119 for the Kyosho-2.4GHz-Remote-Transmitter ( coz this Kyosho-2.4GHz-Remote-Transmitter is not like those conventional-controller that will suffer from :bigeyes:intermittent loss of frequency that causes intermittent loss of car-control due to nearby appliances, and also:bigeyes:won't suffer from 2 or more of the 'same-frequency-of-controllers' playing together during the play/challenge...)As for my the other 2-Yokomo-Drift, each cost me SGD$79.90 each...AND worst it that this 2-normal-controller are giving really really alot of unplayable time (both loss control=stopped moving immediately...sigh...) coz either if 2-persons standing about 1m-meter-radius/near or even if far apart also disappointing cos once the 2-car bypass/near each other, it stopped immediately...!!!!!
But the "feel" of driving and controlling is totally different coz the 2-Yokomo can only:thumbsd:drive at max-speed once you pull the trigger on remote-controller unlike Kyosho controller as there's an incremental-speed variance. Likewise to the Steering, as the 2-Yokomo also steer at Full-Max either during either left or right turns:thumbsd:unlike Kyosho as there's an incremental-steering varies accordingly...
Btw, the Kyosho is fully-upgradable, meaning you can upgrade/change parts like tire to suspension-springs to better-motor to wide or narrow-front to more precise/accurate control by means of add-on Gyro-unit to the car and a long lists more.....:thumbsup:

Yeah what i mean is the price of RC cars...thANks for the info bluesky...its not exactly a cheap hobby...anyway the competition happens just in my neigbhourhood! I missed the fun and action...
