Anyone knows where to get these wide angel conversion lens Raynox HD-3032 and HD-6600 43mm. I've called up Alan photo, cathay, MS color and Parisilk, none has it.

Hi, Maybe you can try Orient photo at simlim square or bought online for McGill Commecial House

I bought Raynox gear from Jim of McGill. He advertises in the Mass Order section of CS. Service is very good, pity the Raynox quality is not so hot.

You have one of these lens? Any comments on the image quality?

I bought an HD6600 for my HV30. It has a 52mm thread which I use with a stepup ring, cos this was advised for best edge-to- edge sharpness. It is actually very good when shooting wide, but the image goes soft when zooming in.

I bought this lens because it is supposed to be zoom-through, and I was hoping to just leave it on the camera most of the time. In practice it is only really useable at wide angles, so now I wish I had bought an even wider lens that doesn't pretend to be zoom-through.

Hi Richard,

Thanks for your feedback.

The HD-7000A is better if users like to use the zoom function of their videocams.

To All,

Please note there are video samples for HD-6600, HD-5050 and HD-3032 now, see below. Do check them out to see if the lenses can perform to your expectations. In limited stock.
