Phra Chedi Chai Mongkhon, or "Great Monastery of Auspicious Victory" was built in 1357 by King U-Thong to store the bodies of Prince Chao Kaeo and Prince Chao Thai, who died of cholera.
A group of boys playfully jumping into the Chao Phraya river from the Wat Kanlayanimit Pier. I captured this while on an hour-long cruise on a long-tail boat.
This was taken before dusk at Wat Arun, also known as "Temple of the Dawn", which is located along the Chao Phraya River. It was named after the Indian God of Dawn, Aruna.
Finally left my camera at the hotel to go on a shopping spree. By the time I returned to the hotel, I was rather tired; hence my picture for the day is the rather ordinary-looking hotel lobby. I like the arm-chairs though.
