In my opinion, the show is damn over rated.
You can see even months before broadcasting, the adverts are all over the channels.

On another note, Mediac@ck is using this show to promote Jeanette Aw as the new "Ah Jie".
Read from lots of forums alot of people hate her, even her colleagues do not like her too.
Seems that her attitude is damn stuck up during shooting. :thumbsd:

I think this Nyonya show is basically in layman's term or simple formula....

"xin hua duo duo kai" + Nyonya dress, background + Back date event + rape scene= Little Nyonya | 小娘惹

And lately MC has been promoting their young female artistes by including "strip scene"...Gosh, these shows should be rated PG

Learn is one thing. But for this matter, it is being very customer oriented by giving what the customer wants, even if it means filming an alternate ending.

The alternate ending is a half way mishmash between an alternate ending, and with teh dumb narration trying to explain why the previous ending was that way. In the end, you can't really see much of an alternate ending.
