Hi everyone,i'm new to this forum and i have been reading for the past few days.can u all recomend some places to get leica m series accessories like strap,case,bags,magnifier,screen protector and all.i see some fellow member say theres a place in chinatown which sell many accessories.may i know where is it?so far i only been to peninsula,sim lim and funan but not much places have anything interesting.thanks everyone for the info.

thanks everyone for the reply.went to chii today but didnt buy anything.will go orient photo to see what they have before i get my GEARS..my 1st leica so looking for nice casing n straps.anyone knows who sell luigi's case other than ordering online as i have no ebay account?or anyone can suggest any nice case to go along.thanks again

luigi hor...u are paying a premium for custom tailor work. that is the whole point. why you want to buy a pre-made luigi from a retail shop? if u wan pre-made luigi, might as well buy Mr Zhou case - cheap and good really. for Luigi, the leather quality is definitely better and you can custom the color/style (backcover, grip, strap). but drawback is you must email discuss with luigi and work out what you really want. also got waiting period due to mr luigi workload - his website got some kind of warning sometimes. take a look first.

wah you leica M need screen protector. can only be M8 or M9 lor.

Thanks again for e info.i do agree with u that its quite troublesome to discuss the details with luigi and wait for the case to be delivered.i really cannot imagine my leica being 'naked'without any case until the luigi case come.i would probably just get zhou case.as for screen protector i thought m9 is sapphire crystal lcd?does it still need screen protector and where in spore we can get good ones?

I suggest u get the Giotto SP8250. It is the best. Need to order online. I used plastic foil (used for primary school workbook) on my M9 until the Giotto arrived.
The M9 screen is plastic and it is very easy to scratch. Sapphire lol, no lar.
Alot of people use Leica without case. You can see rangefinder forums got poll show more than half of RF users do not use case.
In terms of bang for buck, Zhou is enough for me coz it is cheap and good. Whether you need italian premium grade leather (luigi) on your camera is a personal decision.
