Don't mind a long term loan either, I rent you my drybox space for free. As and when you need it, you can have it back.

oh, that you don't have to worry... I got plenty of drybox space!

a 103 litre and the other a 121 litre, they should be big enough to stuff you in! ;) Come in baby ... :bsmilie:

I think it's a mighty fine idea to have a section dedicated to RF users.

My setup:

Mamiya 7II
Leica M6

the condition - looks used ;p but ok lah..not terribly abused.

i believe one of them was going for something like $2500.

looks like we have one more!

well in order to have a section dedicated to RF, we still need to have enough pple so that a new section like that can possibly be considered :)

really looking forward to own a rangefinder soon...:D

me... me... another RF user reporting for "duty"! :D

ME 3!!!

Favourite RF's - Leica M3, M4, IIIF and Nikon S2 (with Zeiss Biogon 21mm lens)

Almost got my first keeper the other day using the IIIF:bsmilie:

BTW, I have at least another 5 friends who use Leica RFs but they don't surf net... One of them had won the Oscar Master Photographer award and he takes great shots using a vintage Leica M3 with a collapsible Elmar 9cm lens.

I'm used to SLR focusing, so I found it rather difficult to focus with a Canonet RF. Anyone know how Canonet focusing compares with a Leica's? I've never held a Leica, just wondering how the focusing is.

The Canonnet RF operates on the same principle as the Leica. If the RF image were not faded (but sadly most of them are), it is not too different to use a canonnet or a Leica RF. Well, the RF accuracy for the canonnet is poorer due to the shorter base length, but this is masked off by a slower lens used. In fact, it's easier to use (loading, exposure wise) than the Leica.

Read this for pleasure: "My Ultra Cool - Canon QL17" :

One more RF user here.

It can turn into an obsession if you're not careful!

When that happens, you become a collector... But what the hack!
;)

I don't know y, but I find rangerfinders more appealing then Dslrs.
