This photo's background reminds me of a post in another thread....

yep, from the famous CS-shooter

Do note, right weather doesn't mean nice nice sky, nice nice clouds.

Based on that definition, this photo would never have been taken: http://www.flickr.com/photos/squiver/6062589277/in/contacts/

It is one of the best photos I have seen of those trees in Namibia in my opinion.

Sometimes, it is a matter of finding the right subject. You may end up with wasted effort, but "bad" weather can often work in your advantage, if you know what to pair it with to great effect. :)

August babies got free entry wor..

And don't really need to travel out of the country to shoot landscapes...

Punggol area? That's one of the many areas I've yet to explore in SG...most places in SG are in development and hard to find places without constructions going on. Too bad.

I'm not eligible for the free entry -.-

You can clone off the horizon if it gets too messy in photoshop. :bsmilie:

think i've been there, but that was over 10yrs ago.
complicated route and very easy to get lost if you're not proficient with the map and compass during that time...
but we have handphone gps now, might just be easier?

Handphone gps is dependent on the networks' signal strength. No network= GG.

They find your body 3 weeks later because some other crazy photographers got lost and brought a satellite phone instead. :sweatsm:

Got...jus a matter of whether u wanna go there...
Quite a long walk from the main road.

hmmm, mind pointing me to the right direction? Cos the last time I went, mostly only follow the path (bus stop to jetty, up the "hill" then to the other bus stop)..

Near Carpark A, drive into Labrador Villa Road.
Weekends can take bus 408 to bus stop id 14419, weekdays have to walk a fair bit from Pasir Panjang Road.
