It was really dark and I only have a f2.0 lens so I knew chances of getting a sharp image of this little girl walking away was pretty slim. But theres something I want to capture about this that made me do it anyway, its something about that special toy a kid brings out and what it means to her. We wont know what that doll means to her, but it doesnt matter.
I've been shooting for about 7-8 months now, but I still feel there something missing even though I develop my own negs and make my own prints. I shot a roll without the use of light meter, resisted the temptation to double check my guess with my iPhone light meter. To see that there are only 5 slightly overexposed frames in the roll of 36 feels pretty amazing. I finally felt that its me making photos because the camera has been telling me what exposure to use all these while.
