I just came back from India myself and was also at Jaisalmer. But our desert trip was the 'so-call" non toouristy stop so we had no tents nor toilets but just sleeping in the open under the sky and stars and toilet behind the bushes.

#12 the photo... the guy in the picture...he happened to be with me and my friend for our 2 days /1 night trip to the desertt!!
what a coincidence..i was really surprise to see his face popping out from your photo!

Thanks pupuce for pit-stopping, I am a fan. You engaged Gemar Singh for your desert trip? I can do with alfresco, but the night temperature in the desert... well, it too quickly overpowered whatever warmth i got from the mesmerizing night desert skies.
